Sketchy Challenge | April 2014

I have just posted the April 2014 sketch for the Canadian Scrapbooker Sketchy Challenge:

My layout is up on the Canadian Scrapbooker blog today for Tuesdays With The Team here.

Here's my layout:

Supplies used:  Bazzill cardstock; Authentique patterned paper; Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine; cut files (Loni Leah Designs tag, Studio Calico heart border); American Crafts Thickers and twine; Prima wash tape; Evalicious badge button; My Mind's Eye tab sticker; Stockade wooden stars; Craft Smart metallic paint; PaperMate Flair pen; miscellaneous buttons from my stash.

Because the paper is busy, I chose to keep the rest of the layout simple:

Journaling reads:  Once you had your big boy bed, we decided to add more shelving in your closet.  You were so excited to start helping your daddy!  It must be a boy thing - your eyes lit up when he brought out the tools! ~2001

Hopefully you find some time this month to play along!  Please head over to the Sketchy gallery and get inspired to create your own layout!  You can use the sketch as is or as a springboard for your project - the choice is yours!

If you play along with the sketch this month, upload your layout in the gallery into the April 2014 Sketch section HERE, and then in your comment below, add a link to that layout, by 11:59 pm on April 30, 2014. On or around May 1st, 2014, I will randomly draw a winner from the comments here of those who participated, for a prize!

Stay tuned - I will be announcing our March 2014 Sketchy winner early next week!

**PLEASE NOTE:  In order to qualify for a chance to be published in an upcoming issue, your layout must be posted in the online gallery by April 30th, 2014.  To qualify to win MY prize, you must add a link to your layout BELOW by April 30th, 2014.

FYI - I'm having some issues with the InLinkz tools so please add a comment and include the url of your project - it may not show right away but will eventually appear once I approve them.

InLinkz is working again! Please add your link below!
